Who we are
carhirecroatia.com connects travellers with car rental providers in Croatia through a search run by a booking partner. This page says what that involves for your data.
What information is handled
Your search
The pick-up place, the drop-off place and the dates you enter in the search are passed to the booking partner to produce the results and are not stored on our side. We do not collect or store payment details: any payment made while booking is taken in the booking partner's system.
Messages you send
When you send a message through the contact form, we receive your name, your email address, any dates you give and your message, so that we can reply.
Server logs
Like any website, the host records technical request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver the pages and keep them secure.
Visits to the site
Google Analytics records how the site is used: the pages viewed, the steps taken in the booking search, the kind of device and browser used, and the country or city a visit comes from.
Why, and on what basis
- Your search details are passed on to show you the cars you asked for.
- Your message is used to reply to it, which is what you asked us to do by sending it.
- Server logs are kept for security and to keep the site running.
- Visits are measured with Google Analytics, to see how the site is used and improve it.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages and email enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last reply, then deleted, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Search details are not kept by this site.

- The booking partner, whose widget runs the search and the booking and takes any payment made while booking
- Resend, which delivers contact form messages to our inbox
- Vercel, which hosts the site and keeps its request logs
- Google Analytics, which measures visits to the site
Each of these services has its own privacy policy, published on its own website.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own apart from the Google Analytics cookies that measure visits. The booking widget may set its own cookies for session management and preferences.

- Ask for your data to be corrected or deleted
- Object to how your data is used
